Universal Design Training
Industry Leading
For councils and organisations wanting to learn the most up to date information about how to adopt a universal design approach, our training is led by industry experts with first-hand experience in local government.
We have walked the talk and understand the multiple challenges associated with bringing about change and best practice. We can share strategies, success stories, tools and resources to help you understand what universal design is, and how it can be applied to your work.
Developing a better understanding of universal design can help you:
Achieve better quality outcomes and increase the number of people who can access and use the things you create for your community
Gain confidence in involving people from different viewpoints or lived experience in your projects
Develop better projects, strategies, events and policies that meet the diverse needs of your community
Reduce risk and ensure compliance with relevant legislation
Position your council to be more competitive in funding applications, particularly in Victoria due to the Whole of Victorian Government Universal Design Policy
Potentially win awards for innovative designs - like this Aquatic Centre or these playgrounds
